Managed by Milton Keynes-based Jebu Blue Properties, this property in Damson Dell, Northampton, was purchased as a strategic ‘Buy, Refurbish and Resell’ project. Located in a quiet cul-de-sac in a village with lots of character, the bungalow was in need of modernisation to become a fully functional home.

The renovation work involved a complete redecoration internally and externally, updating key electrical and heating components, and installing integrated kitchen appliances. To appeal to older buyers, the bathroom was modernised with a walk-in shower rather than a bath. The project was completed in just 7 weeks, and the house was successfully sold to a retired couple looking to downsize.

Transforming a run down house into a beautiful modern short-let holiday home

This property was purchased as a Buy, Refurbish, Refinance and Rent project. Located in a quiet sought after neighbourhood of Bedford, it was in need of modernisation to become a fully functional home.

The work involved a complete redecoration and layout changes internally, updating key electrical and heating components, and installing integrated kitchen appliances. An additional bedroom, an additional family bathroom, a new en-suite bathroom, and a beautiful modern open plan kitchen diner were created.

The project was completed in 12 weeks.

The house is now being run as a short-let holiday home, able to accommodate 8 people.

The house is conveniently located within easy reach of major points, – including the Universal Studios site, the M1, and Silvestone F1 Circuit.
